OUR VISION & PURPOSE

Scripture in our local schools, We are about reaching teenagers.

Our purpose is to go into their world, to where they play, where they spend most of their time, to where they learn the ways of the world and teach them about the God who loves them for who they are.

Our vision is to see every teenager have the tools and information to make a decision whether they want to follow Jesus.  Using committed, passionate volunteers to teach relevant scripture programs, lunchtime groups and seminars.

Goals

To have enough volunteer scripture teachers to reach year 7,8,9 and 10 in three local high schools each week, each year.

To run Christian lunchtime groups in Bulli, Woonona and Corrimal highschools.

For each school to have enough prayer and financial support

To run specialised courses within each of the high schools depending on specific needs of the school. 

THE BOARD

South Coast City Church Thirroul partners with the Bulli Woonona Corrimal Board (BWCB) to provide scripture teachers to go into all three Highschools in the Northern Suburbs.

The board employs teachers to teach & co-ordinate volunteers for scripture in Bulli, Woonona and Corrimal Highschools. The supporters of this board include a number of other local churches, businesses and individuals.

WOONONA HIGH

BULLI HIGH
Team Leader – Gill Davis (Austi Anglican)

CORRIMAL HIGH
Team leader – Carolyn Meers (Central SCCC)

We are in need of more teachers or helpers. You do not need any qualification other than you are a Christian and want to tell others about Gods love for them.

You do not need to be at the school the whole 3 hours. If you can only help out for an hour it would be much appreciated.

We also need helpers for the lunchtime groups and seminars.
