Little Lambs (1 - 2 yrs)
A safe enviroment for babies to intergrate into Kingdom Kids.
Kingdom Kids (3 - Kindy)
What do we do?
- Held in the crèche area, our Kingdom Kids ministry opens at 10am and continues until just after the morning service closes.
- The two large activity rooms are filled with lots and lots of fun things for little kids … slippery-dips, cubby houses, toys, games…and more!
- The primary focus of Kingdom Kids is to support families in bringing God and kids together, so each Sunday morning program includes some time for fun and age-appropriate Bible-based teaching… activities include singing, dancing, story-telling, art, games or colouring-in…
World Changers (1 - 4 School years)
&
History Makers (5 - 7 School years)
When do we start?
The World Changers and History Makers programs begin just before the message is preached in the main service (an announcement is made during the service – letting kids and parents know when it is time for Kids Church to begin)… We encourage families to praise and worship God together at the beginning of each service, before the fun and games of Kids Church begin!
World Changers: What do we do?
- World Changers is held in the ‘middle’ room along the main-entry hall.
- The purpose of the World Changers program is to support families in bringing God and Kids together, and we seek to do this in fun, friendly and age-appropriate ways…
- Activities each week always include ‘getting-to-know-you’/friendship activities, team challenge games, prayer, and fun teaching/learning about a range of Bible-based topics (which we aim to relate to topics covered in the main service as far as possible).
- Learning experiences may include story-telling, drama, memory-verse challenges, music, and more…
History Makers: What do we do?
- History Makers is held in the room nearest the church office along the main entry-hall.
- The History Makers program is similar to World Changers in many respects – we seek to develop each child to their full potential in fun, friendly, and age-appropriate ways through effective spirituality and loving community.
- In History Makers, we aim to cover similar Bible-based topics (aimed to relate to topics covered in the main service as far as possible) with a strong relational focus: guiding and supporting these older children as they learn more about God, and readying them for the transition to youth and adult church services.
- FUN is still a major emphasis - only in History Makers, the activities are a little more… ‘active’, and the team challenge games are a little more… ‘challenging’.
What do parents/carers need to know?
Parents/carers need to sign their children in and out of Kingdom Kids, and are also asked to sign a permission form for each child – ensuring that we are able to provide a high level of safety and care.
We take a record of attendance at the beginning of the World Changers and History Makers programs each week, and parents/carers will need to sign their children out of the respective kids church rooms after the main service finishes (parents/carers are also asked to sign a permission form for each child – ensuring that we are able to provide a high level of safety and care).
